- 1964 – The founder of the company, Lajos Tóth started to work as a toolmaker for the tool plant of Magyar Vagon- és Gépgyár, then he worked for the tool plant of GYÁÉV from 1968.
- From 1971 to 1979 – The founder of the company worked for the tool plant of ELZETT Lemezárugyár and obtained a tool maker’s mastership certificate.
- From 1979 to 1993 – Lajos Tóth worked as a toolmaker tradesman.
- 1993 – The company was developed, Sat-Metal Kft. was established as a limited liability company, of which profile was tool production and stamping.
- 2000 – Image development, creation of new logo. The triangles in the logo symbolizes stability and diversification. The name of the company was changed, and it has been operated as Pannon Tools Kft. The word Pannon in the company name comes from our region’s old Roman name – Pannonia, and Tools is an English word means “szerszám, eszköz” in Hungarian. Our objective was that the foreign customers recognize immediately the company profile.
- 2000-2001 – A quality management system based on ISO 9001:2000 was developed and started to apply.
- August 2001 – First certification. After a successful audit of the quality management system based on ISO 9001:2000 standard we have received the certificates from TÜV Rheinland for the scope of design and production of cold forming dies, hot forming and plastic moulding tools as well as production and assembly of components.
- July 2002 – We supplied the first metal components to ALPINE. Based on a previous customer’s audit as well as on our activates and references, we became a metal component supplier of ALPINE.
- 2005 – Production and stamping of sheet metal parts became our main profile. We built a 3300 m2 new production hall in the Industrial Park of Győr in 2005, one third (1100 m2) of which was laid out as a new press plant. In the plant, we also installed new high capacity eccentric press lines with pressing forces of 315 tons and 250 tons. In the production hall, a welding area has also been set up. The development of an environmental management system based on ISO 14001:2004 standard was commenced.
- 2006 – The environmental management system based on ISO 14001: 2004 standard was developed, and it was successfully certified by AIB-VINCOTTE in July 2006.
- 2007 – The expansion of the sheet metal part production plant soon became necessary, so in 2007, we built a 2,000 m2 production hall equipped with bridge cranes, where besides expanding the sanitary block, a 500 m2 warehouse was also constructed.In this new hall, straight side presses with pressing forces of 250 – 400 tons were installed, as well as we transferred the presses from our previous plant situated on Reptéri út. This way our sheet metal parts production capacity has been concentrated in one place.
- July 2007 – We supplied the first automobile parts to SUZUKI. Indirectly we have been producing Suzuki automobile parts for years.
